Refresh

Did you know that you can refresh your soul? When you awake in the morning, or come upon a time during your day where there is a disconnect between your emotional feelings and the "real-time" present events in life, you can refresh the part of your soul where the emotional breakdown exists.

When you refresh you synchronize your soul with your spirit and the Spirit of God. The benefits of being refreshed are, being refreshed in His presence, flooded with His thoughts about you, and His plans and purposes in the earth today. You'll find that it is very good and uplifting to refresh.

Look for the good and follow it. (Jer. 6:16). When you have linked up with a good state of mind, along with pleasant emotional feelings from God, you have refreshed. You are a spirit, you have a soul and you live in a body. Your soul is made up of your mind will and emotions. Within your emotions are feelings. Your emotions are like an ocean with little fish swimming around in it. The fish are the feelings.

When you find yourself in a counterproductive emotional state, and you feel awkward, refresh. When you feel sad, refresh.  When you feel doubtful, refresh. When you feel lazy, refresh because refresh puts you back in the moment.  Yes, refresh is something you've done on many occasions, literally. Especially being on the internet. You are familiar with refresh, aren't you? Refresh is a command that reloads the content. It also updates you with new data. Likewise, when you refresh you pull up on a current emotion for the current event. The scripture says, "The law of the Lord is perfect refreshing the soul."  (Ps. 19:7)

Facts about emotions:

  • Emotions appear more real than thoughts.
  • Stored emotions are chemicals (stress hormones).
  • Stress creates physical discomfort.
  • Stress creates health conditions over time.
  • At the root of stress is fear.

You can refresh your soul by addressing it.

Psalm 42:11 AMP

[11] Why are you in despair, O my soul? Why have you become restless and disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.

Guard Your Heart ❤️
Your heart is a vital part of your entire being. This is why each of us should do everything within our power to protect this precious organ of ours. Heart health is of great importance, as it is directly connected to the longevity of one's life. Just as it is very wise to guard your natural heart, likewise your spiritual heart must be guarded as well. We are being inundated with information about COVID-19, quarantine regulations, dates, the death toll, with innumerable specifications. If you're not careful there's a chance you'll become overwhelmed.

This is why we must guard our hearts. Ephesians chapter 6 talks about the whole armor of God. We guard our hearts with the breastplate of righteousness and the shield of faith. It's quenching time. It's time to quench bad news. Also take heed how you hear; In what manner you hear. Luke 8:18 KJV says "Take heed therefore how ye hear for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have. "Furthermore the scripture says "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." The Amplified Classic version uses the word vigilance in the place of diligence. "Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life." (Pr. 4:23) Keep and guard are the verbs in this directive; The action words listed. With all vigilance denotes you taking responsibility on your own like a vigilante, except you have been given scriptural permission. It's your heart, so be motivated to keep a careful watch on it. To what degree are you listening to bad reports? Take heed, it may be time to walk away from the news without becoming ignorant of updates. Be encouraged to guard the good word that's in your heart.

8 Ways to Guard Your Heart:

📍Pay attention to the information you allow in by being selective.

📍Take heed how you hear and receive news by staying in faith.

📍Cover your heart with the breastplate of righteousness.

📍Shield your heart with the "shield of faith".

📍Protect thoughts with the helmet of salvation which preserves soundness of mind.

📍Quench the darts from the enemy by putting out little fires before they affect you.

📍Take note of the condition in which you are hearing and listen with a pure heart.

📍Monitor the frequency of reports that you hear that are not aligned with the word.

In doing so, the joy and peace that you have will be increased.

YOU STILL HAVE A FUTURE.
Being quarantined changes almost everything, but it doesn't change everything.  John 3:16 is still in effect.

For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ( unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.  Jn. 3:16 AMP.

God loves you and he has provide protection for each of us.  His love is unconditional, even in the midst of a pandemic.  Remember that you still have a future.  You still have a destiny to fulfill.  Fear not, only believe that the blood that Jesus shed is stronger than any disease, germ or the coronavirus.

Do you have the desire to live?  If you're reading this article I would believe that the answer to that question is, " Yes!  I want to live!" and if you want to live, I am writing to tell you that you will live.  The price has already been paid.  That is great news isn't it?

Right now resurrection life is welling up inside of you as it shoots out like fireworks, pushing out darkness, pushing out disease and virus.  The evil schemes of man  entangled with this pandemic will fail.  No weapon formed against us can prosper.  So we can confidently say:  "I Still Have A Future".

Coronavirus
Covid-19 and The Church

By now the world is aware of this latest report of outbreak of disease known as the coronavirus. This article is not to inform you of the details of Covid-19.    I'm aware that you are probably already searching the internet and watching the news updates.  I’d like to update you on God’s view and what he expects from His church during these trying times.

First, be very encouraged in the midst of such discouraging reports.  Here are two key words for you.  They are  “Peace" and "grace”.  Peace and grace are available to see you through the weeks and months ahead.  The greatest news is that  our “Great High Priest” Jesus intercedes on our behalf.  In Christ, we move and live.  Praise God!

Colossians 3:15,18 KJV
[15] And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Secondly, know that we, the church, have been empowered for times like these.  If you are alive today, you can consider yourself equipped to handle the things that are to come.
Remember, we have been being prepared for it all.  Know that you are already prepared for everything.  This includes having the right character and behavior to love, help and support our fellowman.

Thirdly, I urge you to follow the governments recommendations:
(at the time that this article was written).

1. Gatherings no larger than 50 (number varies by state)
2. 8:00 pm curfew (time varies by state)
3. Wash your hands thoroughly
4. Avoid eating in public establishments
5. Drink lots of water.

Good News

At the same time, we are not afraid.  There is no sickness, disease or virus stronger than the word of God that we believe and speak.  Fear Not!  Only believe.

Remember, you cannot stop others from fearing, but you can be a good example of an individual who walks in the peace of God.  After all, believers dwell in the secret place where no evil can befall them.

Read and quote Ps. 91.

Scriptures to believe and apply:

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Col. 3:15 NIV

Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 2 Pe. 1:2 NIV

Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. Jn. 14:1 ESV

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Jn. 14:27 NIV

Cast all all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Pe. 5:7 NIV

Decree from Christian International:

I decree:  I declare my hope and trust are in the Lord who is my refuge and fortress.  I activate my faith and give no place to fear for God is my help in time of need.  He is Jehovah Jireh, my Provider, Jehovah Rapha, my Healer, and Jehovah Shalom, my Peace.  He will keep me safe from evil and not allow any sickness to come near my home.  He will place angels around me and my family to keep us safe from all harm.  Because I carry the dunamis power of the Living God inside me, therefore, the Holy Spirit will be a force field around me keeping me safe, strong and healthy in my body, soul and spirit.  I am blessed and not cursed!  I will be a blessing and strength to others in their time of need.  I will be a source of God’s light and life and bring glory to the Lord in all I say and do.  I agree with God’s Word that this will be my time of victory, peace and increase, in Jesus’ mighty name!

During this time of quarantine, it  has been reported that people have contracted the corona virus, received healing, as well as full recovery from it.  There are also people who are not being touched by it. Please realize that everyone will not contract the corona virus and though some may, be assured that you don't have to be one of them.

There is a surge that defies the report of sickness and death.  There is a release of power in this hour.  It's a surge that is greater than an electrical surge, it's a power of God surge.  The surge is made up of force.  It is not passive, it's force is strong.   This surge has headed your way to reverse the condition of your physical body, if you need healing.  This will happen by a surge of the Power of God.
Will you believe that, you too have the ability to release a surge of God's power.  The surge is released through our words. The surge is released through our prayer.  The surge is released when we prophesy.  Through this surge of the power and force of God against corona virus and any sickness and disease, the presence of the Lord damages the devices of the enemy.

Therefore, my friend, have faith in the power of God.  Did you know that the power of God is inside of you?  Therefore, have faith in the power of God inside of you.

I encourage you to open your mouth and speak differently than the reports you've been hearing, unless you've been hearing the report of the Lord.  This is very important because as we stand and speak the word of the Lord over these situations we are not merely uttering, we are releasing a surge of the power of the Most High God.

How to Thrive not Just Survive During Covid-19 Outbreak

In order to survive this trying time in victory and peace remind yourself, your loved ones and community of the following:

  2. God restoresAnything you may lose during this period of time can be restored.  God is able to make you come out better than you started.  Restoration gives back what you originally had and with God he adds more.
  3. God keeps us.He has not lost his ability to keep us from sickness, disease, virus and the enemies of our prosperity.  We are kept by the power of God.
  4. God preservesYou and I are blessed to be maintained in our original state. Therefore we can remain confident in the ability of our God and our faith in Him.
  5. God healsIf you were to become infected with sickness or disease, you are not left without help.  God still heals and will heal you.
  6. God protectsLet’s not think we have no protection from an outbreak of disease.  Our God still protects us from anything that comes to harm us.
  7. God sustainsYou are sustained by the Lord.  I am sustained by the Lord.  Our words should align with the sustaining power of God in our lives.  We should hold fast, and not waver on our confession of faith in inthe ability of our God.

We are Calling David out of the Cave!

Men and Women all over the world are finding it easy to come out of seclusion. They are leaving their places of hiding to become more visibly positioned, as God originally planned.

The “David’s” have already been anointed by God, and
functioning in ministry, government or business to some
degree, but now it is “David’s” time to arise.

The year 2010 was filled with tests, and the prior years were filled with preparation. If you made it from the time you were born until now and you are still passionate for Jesus and want to be used by Him in a great way, then 2011 is your year of promotion.  You see, 2011 is the year when “David” has come out of the cave and has moved into his rightful place of Kingship.

The benefit of “David” coming to the Kingdom are many. For
example, restoration, regaining and recovery of lost
inheritances.

When “David” came out of the cave and into Kingship he
looked for Saul’s descendants so that he could bless them.
In 2 Samuel the 9th chapter David said “Is there yet any that
is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for
Jonathan’s sake?” Inheritances exist that you are not even
aware. They too will be restored as “David” arises.

Once a descendant of Saul was located and introduced to
David David’s response to him was “I will restore thee all the
land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table
continually” (2 Sam. 9:7).

“David” carries a coming out anointing. You will find yourself
coming out of old church patterns and old ways of thinking
and operating. This sudden change will bear obvious fruit
such as becoming debt free, encouraged and spiritually
enlightened. “David” defeats the enemy that everyone else is
intimidated by (1 Sam. 17:34-37)

As “David” and his company take their places, the economy
will be dealt with, government will be change and the people
of God will arise with a conquering spirit.
