Refresh

Did you know that you can refresh your soul? When you awake in the morning, or come upon a time during your day where there is a disconnect between your emotional feelings and the "real-time" present events in life, you can refresh the part of your soul where the emotional breakdown exists.

When you refresh you synchronize your soul with your spirit and the Spirit of God. The benefits of being refreshed are, being refreshed in His presence, flooded with His thoughts about you, and His plans and purposes in the earth today. You'll find that it is very good and uplifting to refresh.

Look for the good and follow it. (Jer. 6:16). When you have linked up with a good state of mind, along with pleasant emotional feelings from God, you have refreshed. You are a spirit, you have a soul and you live in a body. Your soul is made up of your mind will and emotions. Within your emotions are feelings. Your emotions are like an ocean with little fish swimming around in it. The fish are the feelings.

When you find yourself in a counterproductive emotional state, and you feel awkward, refresh. When you feel sad, refresh.  When you feel doubtful, refresh. When you feel lazy, refresh because refresh puts you back in the moment.  Yes, refresh is something you've done on many occasions, literally. Especially being on the internet. You are familiar with refresh, aren't you? Refresh is a command that reloads the content. It also updates you with new data. Likewise, when you refresh you pull up on a current emotion for the current event. The scripture says, "The law of the Lord is perfect refreshing the soul."  (Ps. 19:7)

Facts about emotions:

  • Emotions appear more real than thoughts.
  • Stored emotions are chemicals (stress hormones).
  • Stress creates physical discomfort.
  • Stress creates health conditions over time.
  • At the root of stress is fear.

You can refresh your soul by addressing it.

Psalm 42:11 AMP

[11] Why are you in despair, O my soul? Why have you become restless and disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.
